Calling on Hope … or perhaps Hope calls on you!

Weariness can bring it’s own sort of distress.

when my heart gets weary

and I cannot seem to breath

my soul whispers hope

*

It’s inside your heart, you know. The determination and ability you need to carry on. In spite of fatigue, weariness and the feeling of being completely overwhelmed with life. Your life, in particular.

Look inward. It’s there. It’s been there in the past and it’ll be there again. Waiting to shore you up, strengthen your resolve and assist you with some common sense problem solving and solutions, so life doesn’t seem so out of control.

Good Luck, I know you can do this. After all it’s a good thing for you … to take care of you!

With affection,

Addressing the STRESS of Distress!

Stress

Here it is – the key to all of your problems. Pick it up and use it. Address that which is distressing you so intensely that your stress levels are skyrocketing! Look directly at what appears to be so overwhelming to you and confront it!

Your stress levels will not be reduced until you focus on and handle what you currently find so emotionally difficult to tackle! And you can do it!

It is not impossible! Hard, yes! Sometimes painfully so, but still doable and definitely necessary, if you want to improve the current conditions in your life. It begins with attitude – specifically speaking – yours!

Perspective plays a role in controlling emotions. The more negative and fearful your emotions, the less control you will have making positive and constructive decisions. In turn, this leads to higher stress levels. I speak an absolute truth here.

“I just can’t do it,” you say. And I say you can.  Put your mind to it! Take back your life! Your life should never evolve around emotions that are out of control.

Take charge of you. Make it happen!

Negative emotions are your enemy they sneak in and convince you of everything that’s wrong. So it’s up to you to find some positive emotions. They’re right there, inside of you too! Some really good stuff just waiting to come out and shore up the weak emotional parts of your mind.

Never forget – your emotions are yours to control, not the other way around.

So now’s the time. Go make things happen in your life. It’s the key to making positive things happen and You Can Do It! Address the Stress. You’ll feel lots better for the doing!

Have a less stressful week ahead – much love to you all!

My Imagination is alive and well – How’s yours doing?

Whimsical Musing

The most important thing I possess, at the moment is a cognizant mind (as far as I know, lol)!

The second most important thing I possess is an imagination. A great big healthy one. So my cognizant mind along with my imagination allows me an infinite reach of potentials and possibilities. Unlimited, as it were.

Solutions and fascinating discoveries occur while I’m busy problem solving, or solution finding, or trouble shooting or (you get my point). It’s actually better than reverse engineering, where you start at the ending to figure out the beginning (love that one)! In my case I move from what I know to what I think might be. (Did I mention unlimited possibilities – I think I did!)

And, lest I forget to mention, having both a cognizant and imaginative mind, I can create at the drop of a hat, anywhere, anytime. Ideas fall like raindrops, if I could collect all of the ideas I’ve thought of in my mind, it would truly be the dawning of a new era. But my mind is also restless, sigh. So it moves quickly on to the next aware and imaginative musing.

Still, that’s okay. I’m content with the duality of my ability to perceive and imagine. It works for me. So how about you? Hows your imagination doing?

Have a great and imaginative day!

The Furies! The elements of our nature!

h

Tisiphone, Megaera and Alecto, in Greek mythology are the three Furies. Also called the Daughters of the Night.

Without mercy, the Furies would punish all crime including the breaking of rules considering all aspects of society. They would strike the offenders with madness and never stopped following criminals. They wereh also the guardians of the law when the state had not yet intervened or did not exist, or when the crime was a crime of ethics and not actual law.

For example, they would protect beggars and strangers, punish those who stole the birds’ young and even look out for the dogs. Originally said to be horrible to look at, they changed into the Eumenides, protectors of the suppliant, after Athena made them spare the life of a murderer.

The other place we hear repeated reference to the use of the word “fury” is with Mother Nature.

hMother Nature’s Fury is like none other, as we’ve all seen or been ample witness to!

The elements of nature and human emotions can be both gentle and harsh and while the word “fury” originated from mythology, the core meaning has never really changed, that of an extremely violent action or reaction.

Today too many of us are purely reactionary, that is to say we react to what we read or see without first giving thought to the “truth” of it! If you multiple this reactionary mentality to the hundreds of millions who may be viewing the same media information as you then you can see where this might lead to bigger and badder problems.

It is too easy for each of us to accept at “face value” second handfile000876988804 information and then go to a “bad place” and emotionally over react to a situation or circumstances, in turn making a situation that much worse.

Or so it seems to me. Try for a little emotional balance when presented with new information. Don’t make someone else’s fury yours. Take some time to consider if what you are innocently reading or viewing is true and even then consider carefully how you respond.

A great saying is “Are you part of the problem or part of the solution”. Don’t let an emotionally passionate and reactionary mode dictate your “action”. And if you do act on something, try for it to be a good thing. Part of a greater good and positive solution!

Choose to not be fooled, and be not a “FURY” but one of the “Protectors” in life! Always about choices!
