The Beauty of a Woman

The beauty of a woman is not an exterior thing. Although from a physical perspective there are many beautiful women. The beauty of a woman isn’t just an interior thing. Most women are amazingly loving, caring and giving. The beauty of a woman lies in the unique combination of genes that created her.

dna_2-t2She stands alone on several fronts. It is a given that ‘needs be’ she can accomplish more in a single day than thought possible but even that isn’t the main beauty of a woman.

Her very essence and nature draws people together. Encourager of Humanity if you like. She is a nurturer and a teacher (regardless of her own educational level) she will immediately go into a teaching mode with another when seeing the need. For most women it is instinctive. She is a nurse and seems to know when and how to fix a wound, a hurt, an ailing part of another human being.

And while she may look for her place in the order of things and struggle to be recognized for her true value and worth … know this … it is already there built into her very being.

She is a female and this defines her better than any other. Mother of all and essential to life, not because she carries, gives birth and then nurtures us as children, but because she also sustains us as adults.

And she always will … regardless of the ever increasing roles and responsibilities she has in her life.

Reduce Your Stress Now – Move your body as a child does!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThere was certainly a pretty universal agreement from comments, in my last post, that words can hurt, and too many today aren’t careful with the way they use their words.

And we’re not happy about it either. In fact we can become quite stressed over it.

So this post is to help you quickly and easily get rid of some of the stress you feel when you’re a party to hurtful, mean, and untrue words, both spoken and written.

Did you know your body tightens up, automatically when you’re emotionally stressed. A fact. Beginning with the muscles in your neck and shoulders and face and your tummy. The result is you’ve taken an emotional stress and turned it into a physical stress as well. So right now, focus only on the physicality of the stress, breath really deeply – from your gut, think about all your muscles relaxing themselves.

Not working? Maybe just a little, but probably not very much, because you’re allfile000496683546 “grown up”. Once that stress settles in, it’s going to stay with you in your tensed up body. Why?

Because you’ve gotten used to being “mature” and keeping those bad feelings inside of you. I want you to think about children.

Think about what they do instinctively when they’re upset. They scream and cry, contort their faces, wave their hands, run around. It works so well that in a little while they are ‘all better’, because they got rid of the stress they were feeling emotionally by becoming physical, they let it out.

We grow up being told to be mature and “responsible acting” adults. We are told that we can learn to hold those feelings inside and (most of us) do that. We keep the hurt, pain, anger, disappoint inside and (it festers) presto, our bodies aren’t well either. No leap of faith to figure that one out, is there?

So be a kid for awhile. (In the privacy of your room at home, somewhere you are most comfortable and able to express yourself and move your body.) Allow those emotions to come out! Yell, be very vocal with your words, loud and clear, express those feelings, contort your face, use your arms and legs, the greater the physical movement, the better. You’re getting those pent up emotions out of your system and your body, exactly like a child does. And it is very healthy.

Also, interestingly enough, not only will your stress be less, but you’ll have more energy (like a child) or you’ll be more relaxed and in a restful state.

Either one is a good place to be after relieving the stress of the day. Your body, mind and spirit, will all thank you!

Have a relaxing evening, restful night and happy and energetic tomorrow!

Longing … in the night

by boborsillo
~
There is inside
a place in me,
a place I dare not go
the longing … in the night.
*
He must know of my longing,
buried  deep within,
… and my endless, sleepless nights
restless … with desire.
*
There’d been a time he’d ‘known’
reaching out to me,
… Satiating passions need
Conquering with … his will.
*
Now only nights of emptiness
that once were so divine.
Perfection of the night time
… when safe within his arms,
securely loved, a certainty
within … the night time’s hours.
*
All lost except the craving,
the longing … in the night.

What are meaningful “action” words?

And how do you use them?

*
Love, Hope, Give, Honor, Care, Trust, Believe, Forgive, Value,
*

Such small words. Such huge and wonderful meanings. When we use small words with big meanings do we feel big feelings? Do we think big thoughts?

 by Sanshams

In the English language of things, these can all be “action” words (verbs)! Are they action words (in your life) when you say them or are they simply words connecting other words together in a sentence. Words written or spoken in daily platitudes but not our personal attitudes.

I know when we use small words that are negative …

fear, hate, fault, blame, mean, hurtful, cruel, greedy
*

… we are very action oriented! Look around, it’s rather obvious isn’t it? Violence,happy-young-woman-by-fotosforthought. meanness, cruelty, selfishness, greed are everywhere (in abundance)! Why is that?

The human heart has such a giant capacity for LOVE and LOVING!

Today, written and spoken words are being used as weapons, tearing apart and ripping through the potential of what we can become: something far greater than the sum of our individual parts. Please use those action words that help bring us – all – closer together. Not further apart. And yes! You do make a difference! Every single human being on the planet does!

Each life holds the capability of greatness from which something mighty may grow.

 an embedded heart
within, a seed of greatness
embracing love

I hope you are having an excellent Sunday and for those beginning your new week, may it be a full and loving one for you.

child of nature

Listen, can you hear?
*

There once was a girl, mostly deaf, me!  I could hear – when sounds and spoken words were loud, or when looking directly at the person speaking. Lip reading was self-taught (although unaware, I learned to speak and understand by lip movement and observing facial expressions). When a child, you don’t know you have a hearing problem. A problem undiagnosed, until 7 years old.

*I grew up in the fertile and lush Willamette Valley in the northwestern part of North America, spending days/years communing with nature through intimacy of sight and touch. At the age of 11, through a series of incidents, my hearing (overnight) became full and clear. Never explained or clearly understood, by professionals, why this happened or why it happened when it happened, but I woke up one morning and could hear.

And so a difficulty to describe what has not been heard before. The ebbs and flows; birdsong, breezy sounds, rustling grasses, stirring leaves, streamlets rippling murmurs, distant croaking frogs. Woodland whistles through dense trees.

I had never known nuances of sounds, nor echoes in the life force of nature. Magically magnified by my perfect ears – one hundred fold. Raw richness of sensation, the day I first heard, the music of my earth!

when first heard
nature’s symphony of life
magic inconceivable

 *

(A true story, I have had perfect hearing since the 4th grade and have never stopped loving the musically beautiful songs of nature, nor do I ever tire of visiting Mother nature in the wild, my true home on this planet!

A Sequel ~ It Seems

By request: a passionate continuation of Perhaps

It Seems

Lost in a land where embers never die

I cannot be satiated with need of you

Unquenchable, my thirst.

It seems

when I think on things, I cannot think

I cannot speak, I cannot

do naught

but experience

sensation after sensation.

You

do this to me

it seems,

and I

am filled

with deliciousness,

a wanton desire that women feel.

It seems, my body is yours

it seems, my longing grows

it seems, you know my needs

it seems, you know me so

and I am lost to desire

with my need for you.

It seems

a pleasurable torment!

Satisfy me

please
