If you are born a female, as soon as you’re able to communicate, limitations are put upon you, solely for the reason that you are a girl. These limitations are reinforced in our schools, our workplace, our communities and our homes. For many girls, it doesn’t take long to add to these limitations. They become self fulfilling.
YOU ARE as equal as any other human on this planet. You CAN achieve anything you believe you can. And the very first thing to achieve (regardless of your current age) is your belief in yourself. It begins there and once you’ve planted the seed of self-belief, nurture it. Keep it growing, bigger, better, stronger.
Be all that you can be … You owe it to yourself!
And YES, #unstoppable – a very good word to emulate!

I can not emphasize enough the fact that a woman has an astonishing capability when it comes to enduring that which life throws her way.

Each releasing within us a golden elixir. Magical miraculous and perhaps a little mysterious. They tend to be fleeting, these precious moments …
… a sweet emitted substance of sensation that can calm and lift a troubled and heavy heart.

Not only that, but probably the most sustaining “glue” we humans have when relating to one another. I know there are many other emotions that can and do effect us in the course of our lives, Both negative and positive. But I believe Love stands alone when it comes to “Why” humans are still around. A sort of moral imperative, if you will.
The need to be loved. The need to love. HUGE … when if it comes right down to it and I do honestly believe the greatest source of inspiration and motivation that we humans will ever have.
I know it’s the reason I always have hope for us, our future and our planet. The “Love” factor will carry us through.

For most of us, by the time we’re adults we’ve become adept at one thing – an expert even, in many cases. We are creative geniuses when it comes to procrastination or excuses for why we’re not doing something. And it goes even further than that.
When things don’t go the way we think they should, we go a step further and blame others, situations or circumstances for why something isn’t happening for us. We end up being our own worst enemy.
The hardest thing to overcome is the infinite variety of rationales (excuses) we come up with, on any given day, for why we don’t start something or finish it … once begun. Once we recognize that “we” are actually the problem, or at least our resistant attitude, things begin to happen. Make today your first happening day!
Always remember, it’s your choices and your passion that will get you were you want to be!

Entry in my day journal this morning: Today is the day. I will finally complete the Inspirational Book for Women I’ve been working on for more than a year (Okay, a year and a half – really? It’s been that long? Oh for goodnes sake, it can’t have been that long? Sigh. That long!)
So today’s the day. I hope. Maybe. I open my Scrivener program (See? Serious intentions going on here!) and read through portions of the latest draft. I’m slightly intimidated because the outline I sent to the publisher (Who suggested I write this book, for goodness sakes!) and discussed, at length, with her (the one she approved) just barely resembles what I’ve actually written.
Another sigh, here. But I am writing in the method I feel will be the best way to achieve my personal goal with this book: To actually make a difference. Not just another self-help, you-can-do-it type of book, but one that stands alone because the reader identifies and connects with me, the author, and what I’m saying.
So, with the best of intentions, I’m going to finish this. Okay, right after I write this blog post. But then I am, for sure.
