The Why About This 
Love how you came full circle at the end there, pairing “this” and bliss” Loved the separation and stinginess with words throughout–formulaic, which as the daughter of a mathematician (well, physicist) is like buttercream frosting. I like to think of sentences as equations!!
And the picture!!!
I hear you. My mom was spiritual of nature, my dad had a scientific approach to life, I ended up in the middle of things Karen! 🙂
